NATSCH⁴ - Dolomiti Rosso

Long maceration time and aging in wood (barrique and cigarillo) - deep wine due to long contact with whole bunch and lots of time to develop

The Schiava variety (in German: VerNATSCH) is part of the culture of Alto Adige and an important red wine variety of the region. It is often too hastily dismissed as being too simple and often gets too little time in the cellar. This Schiava had time to develop. NATSCH4 is a vintage blend of the four vintages 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. The grapes of the wines derive from the oldest parcel of our Schiava site RÖMIGBERG. The four wines were vinified for different lengths of time on the skins and whole bunch.
